All our signs use our RAD Super Mini LED technology. However, not all neon signs out there are LED. A number of signs use traditional neon, which are made of glass tubes filled with electrified gasses. These tend to get very hot and have a shorter lifespan.

Can neon signs go outside? Absolutely! For many of our customers who want outdoor signs, we build a weatherproof acrylic box that helps protect their sign from the elements. We don't necessarily recommend doing this with a neon sign on a stand, given the likelihood of a passer-by inadvertently knocking it over.
